Zlatan Ibrahimovic Announces Retirement From International Football

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has announced he’ll retire from international football after the ongoing Euro 2016.

The 34-year-old record goalscorer who is full of pride with his 15-year international career for his country will finally bow out from the international scene this summer and his last game could come as early as Wednesday night as the Swedes go into their clash with Belgium on the verge of elimination having taken just one point from their opening two games.

According to him:

“The last game (at Euro 2016) will be my last for Sweden, so I hope it will not be tomorrow.

“I am very proud of what I have achieved and will always bring the Swedish flag with me.”

Ibra, who calls himself “god”, has found the back of the net 62 times in Sweden colours and could make history by becoming the first player to score in four European Championship finals.
